Description
This painting is signed FD Millet on the lower right corner, and was sold by Grogan & Company in 2014, and titled “Fishermen Gathering” However, it was prepared as an illustration for Millet’s book, The Danube from the Black Forest to the Black Sea, published in 1893 on page 315.
